From a sick zine to a sick record label and back to zine form again, here is none the less that issue #8 of Quarantined! The catchphrase on the cover says it all:
"Hardcore here & now. No division, no nostalgia & no apologies. Just plain hardcore passion".
Combine this statement with how active and varied the current Swedish scene is, and you'll have an issue that is almost 100% IKEA-core interview-wise, from the powerviolence of Xiao to the Råpunk of Slan, the emotive leanings of Feels Like Heaven to the late 80s NYHC-styled bounce of In 2 Deep. And then the neighbors in Finland are represented by the mean blast & stomp of Health Issues just for extra good measure. Reviews, rants, articles, bunch of sick live pics, and most importantly some strong opinions that are not afraid to ruffle some feathers, it's all in here to make it a proper read.
